Storytime 23rd May
We will be hosting a storytime – aimed at under 6s – on Saturday 23rd May 2026, from 11 to 1130 (ish).
What can I expect?
Little kids love listening to stories out loud, and this selection of stories will have them joining in too! We’ll be running with this week’s theme – Imagination – and the children will be encouraged to imagine and join in with the actions as we go!
Who is invited?
Everyone! Members, non-members, everyone is welcome. We are aiming the stories at the under-6s, but if older children like to listen they’re welcome. They can also browse the library and read their own stories. We do ask that all children are accompanied though – this isn’t a ‘drop and go’!
Can I take out books after?
We would love that! You’ll need to be a member, but membership forms are available on the desk, and our wonderful desk assistants are on hand to help you get them filled out straight away. The stories we’ll be reading are not all available in the library yet, but there are thousands of other children’s books available!
